Project Scarcliffe Boathouse
BOATHOUSE BUILD
Crafted for longevity and designed with precision, this collection of custom cabinetry and millwork blends classic craftsmanship with durable materials. In the kitchenette, we constructed crisp and timeless cabinetry using painted MDF and maple exteriors with pre-finished maple veneer core boxes. Solid maple dovetail drawers add strength and durability, while custom X-mullions lend extra character to the space.
For the laundry room, we prioritized durability in high-moisture environments by using marine-grade MDF. The solid maple drawers, joined with dovetail construction and waterproof glue, ensure lasting strength. To maintain a clean and cohesive look, all painted surfaces were finished in Benjamin Moore’s Classic Gray. A standout feature of this space is the custom laundry pullout, designed with a black powder-coated wire mesh panel for both ventilation and aesthetics. The pullout front was painted black to seamlessly blend behind the mesh, achieving a polished and intentional design.
The Scarcliffe Boathouse powder room features a floating vanity with a frame-inset design, crafted from flat-sawn white oak. Built to withstand humid conditions, the solid maple dovetail drawers were assembled using waterproof glue. We stained the vanity to match the lower-level flooring, ensuring a cohesive, natural aesthetic that enhances the warmth of the space.
In the lower boathouse bar, we focused on a refined, minimalist aesthetic that merges function with style. Constructed from marine-grade MDF and painted in Benjamin Moore’s Classic Gray, this cabinetry offers both durability and a timeless look. The solid maple dovetail drawers, crafted with waterproof glue, provide resilience against the lakeside environment. This space embodies our commitment to craftsmanship—resilient, refined, and built to last.
